Since my last Librascope Memories update two months ago, we've made several significant additions.

 

1. First, we added a new (supplemental) web-site called Carl's Gallery, where you can quickly go to easily view all the Librascope Memories photo albums and movies, including 5 new "People", 11 new vintage "Advertisements", 2 new "Places", and 11 new "Products". You'll enjoy the old photos that Howard Applegate recently contributed. Note, these additions were also published on the Librascope Memories web-site.

 

2. There is now a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) page located between the "Links" and "Blog" pages. Check it out. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

 

3. On the Librascope +/Brochures page we added two interesting documents from the 1950's era. First is a 36 page 1956 Librascope Facilities brochure, and the other is a 20 page 1957 Employees Group Insurance Plan booklet. If your 1957 annual salary was, say, between $5,000 and $7,500 per year and you had one dependent, your monthly contribution was only $4.55. See pages 7 and 8 for more details.

 

4. The About page was revised to incorporate Blog #1 (How It All Began).

 

5. Finally, 3 News Items, 1 new Link for CATFAE, and Product Literature for 6 "new" items were added to their respective pages on Librascope Memories.
