Librascope Memories’ FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) -

Q1. What is the best way to contact someone responsible for the Librascope Memories (LM) web-site?

A1. If, after checking these FAQ's, you still have a question, comment, or suggestion to make, please send us an e-mail by clicking on this icon:

Positive feedback or constructive criticism is always appreciated.

Q2. How can I submit some old Librascope photographs, or documents that I think would be suitable for publication on the LM web-site?

A2. e-Mail us first, and include a description of what you have. We will then suggest how best to send it to us.

Q3. How can I be advised when new material is added to the LM web-site?

A3. There is more than one way. Major updates are usually announced to everyone on our mailing list by e-mail, so make sure we have your current e-mail address and that you keep us informed of any future changes. You may also subscribe to the Librascope Memories - News Blog, which describes all the changes on the date they are made. Finally, the date the web-site was last updated is always indicated on the bottom of the Welcome page, so be sure to add www.librascopememories.com to your Bookmarks.

Q4. How large is the Librascope Memories (LM) mailing list?

A4. We currently have over 400 active e-mail addresses, but we don't have everyone's. This same address list is also used to make announcements about the next Reunion, and other items of interest to all. The mailing list is considered private, so addresses are not released to others without your permission. Please let us know, if you are not sure we have your current address.

Q5. Can I request that you send me another Libravet's e-mail address?

A5. Yes, simply send us your request. If we have the other Libravet’s address, we will forward your e-mail to them. It will then be up to the recipient to contact you.

Q6. Are there many Libravets on Facebook and LinkedIn?

A6. Yes, there are currently at least 35 on Facebook, and 107 or more on LinkedIn. On LinkedIn, we have a new Libravet Group that all Librascope Libravets and former associates are welcome to join (for free). This sub-group now has 64 members that can easily correspond with each other.

Q7. How many Librazettes are on the LM web-site currently, and where did they all come from? Are there any Librazettes still missing?

A7. There are 301 issues on-line covering the period from May, 1942 to August, 1999. Most of these, by far, were contributed by Roy Kramer. Others came from Jerry & Davie Henshaw, Carl Sorensen, and Georgine Archer's garage. We don't know of any specific issues that are missing, but there could be a few more we don't know of. Please contact us if you happen to find any missing issues.

Q8. Can I use the “Librascope Search” function on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad?

A8. Yes, the iPad is best, but not as good as with an up to date PC or Mac with (best) or without Evernote installed.
